Accident Recovery

DAN’S AIRCRAFT has extensive experience in the retrieval of damaged aircraft located in remote areas.  We have retrieved aircraft from just about every part of the state, either by making necessary field repairs and flying the aircraft out or by disassembling it and sling loading out by helicopter.  Dan is often able to land his specially equipped Super Cub near accident sites to enable repairs or retrieval as required.  By having portable welding gear and a good supply of emergency spare parts in house, we can generally arrive on site of an accident just a day or two after receiving a request for a retrieval.
